Lou's Cheese & Relish Scones
Ingredients:
- 3 cups self raising flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 3/4 cup Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce's Tomato Relish
- 1 cup grated tasty cheese
- Milk
Method:
- Combine salt and flour
- Rub butter into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs
- Add enough milk to make a dough
- Press dough out onto a floured surface into a rectangle shape l cm thick
- Spread entire surface with relish and grated cheese avoiding the edges
- Roll rectangle length-ways and cut into 2cm thick pinwheels and place on a floored baking tray
- Cook for approximately 10 minutes at 200C
