Lou's Cheese & Relish Scones


Ingredients:
  • 3 cups self raising flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce's Tomato Relish
  • 1 cup grated tasty cheese
  • Milk
Method:
  • Combine salt and flour
  • Rub butter into the flour mixture until it resembles breadcrumbs
  • Add enough milk to make a dough
  • Press dough out onto a floured surface into a rectangle shape l cm thick
  • Spread entire surface with relish and grated cheese avoiding the edges
  • Roll rectangle length-ways and cut into 2cm thick pinwheels and place on a floored baking tray
  • Cook for approximately 10 minutes at 200C
