The topiary nursery is the largest of its kind in Tasmania. We grow over 40 different species to create a myriad of traditional & more contemporary shapes. Evandale is situated the northern midlands of Tasmania so that cold temperatures (up to - 8 Degrees) ensure that all plants are totally suited to cold districts.

Our design work takes us to all parts of Tasmania and interstate. The Tim Barbour philosophy is one of restraint and direct linkage of garden style to building style. Many of Launceston's finest gardens have been designed by Tim. His influence extends through the Midlands where his designs are seen in many of the renowned historical homes.

Plants may be purchased in several ways;
• In plastic pots & tubs.
• Bare rooted in winter.
• From open ground & balled & burlapped.
• In a wide range of terra-cotta & glazed pots.

We also have a wide range of “topiary starters” & hedging plants such as English & Dutch Box, Luma Lonicera & Lavender. Most of the plants seen growing in the garden are also available in tubes.
